CLEVELAND, OH (April 25, 2025) – Today the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers and apparel brand POINT3 announced a renewal of their existing partnership to outfit all Cavs Youth Programs through the 2027-28 season. The announcement comes amidst the Cavs record setting 2024-25 season both on and off the court, during which more than 15,000 players in the greater Ohio area wore POINT3 uniforms while participating in Jr. Cavs programs.
“Over the past three years POINT3 has done an incredible job outfitting Jr. Cavs programs and servicing our cherished league partners,” shared Scott MacDonald, Senior Director of Youth Development for the Cleveland Cavaliers. “Their efforts have allowed us to focus on program growth, which is up over 40% since 2023. So it was an easy decision to renew this extremely successful partnership for another three years.”
For over two decades, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been committed to inspiring future generations to grow the game of basketball. Their mission is to motivate the youth of Ohio and beyond to be active, make championship choices on and off the court and build confidence in their athletic abilities. Each year over 15,000 youth basketball players throughout Ohio and beyond participate in Cavaliers Youth Basketball Programs including Junior Cavs, Cavs Academy camps & clinics and Cavs Elite Tournaments, making the Cavs one of the most prolific youth basketball participation programs in the NBA.
“We couldn’t ask for a better partner than the Cleveland Cavaliers,” said POINT3 Founder & CEO Michael Luscher. “Scott, the entire Cavs Youth Basketball team and all of their Jr. Cavs league partners are committed to doing the often thankless work that drives basketball participation and an enduring connection to the Cavs. We’re honored to play a small role in that and to continue helping Cavs Youth Basketball maintain its position as the fastest growing Jr. NBA program in the league.”
